Tim A. Tyler

January 17, 1943 — November 4, 2018

Tim A. Tyler, age 75, resident of Columbia, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 at his home.

Funeral services for Mr. Tyler will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 7th in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Jerry Thomason and Mike Yates officiating. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the U.S. Navy. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, November 6 th at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born January 17, 1943 in Blanchard, LA, son of the late Harry and Eunice Soap Tyler and husband of Melissa Harper Tyler. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Vietnam Conflict and retired from AT&T. His hobbies included playing golf and reading. He loved his church, Thompson Station Church of Columbia, and Pastor Eric Nichols.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a brother: Glenn Wayne (Judy) Tyler of Amarillo, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Carol Ann Montfort.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Weinschenk, Mark Tidwell, Jeff Harper, Eric Turner, Ben Harness, and Bobby Bennett.
