Travonté Dejuan Anderson, age 20, a resident of Spring Hill, went into eternal rest on Thursday morning, April 30, 2020 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Carter’s Creek Pike.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Elmore Torbert and Reverend Alvin Anderson, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Unity in Maury Memorial Gardens. A visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 1-2PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on October 11, 1999 in Columbia, Vonté was the son of Travis Fleming and Princess Anderson & Tyce Smith. He was a 2018 graduate of Centennial High School in Franklin and most recently worked at Armada in Spring Hill and previously at Belk in Cool Springs. He attended Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Vonté had an old soul and was wise beyond his years. He was a people person who was always positive, well-mannered, respectful, loving and caring. Vonté loved fashion; he was always clean cut and dressed to impress. He was an avid sports fan, especially Tennessee Titans football and Kentucky Wildcats basketball, and he often enjoyed listening to music. Above all, he loved his family and friends and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings: Tyus Anderson, Ca’myah Fleming, Keshaena Fleming, Jasmine Buchanan, Tre Fleming; grandparents: Joyce Jones, David Haynes, Delores Fleming; devoted uncle, Alvin Anderson, Sr.; devoted aunt, Angeleta Secrest-Torbert; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joe Morris Fleming and special uncle, Tim Anderson.
Pallbearers will be: Jariel Wilson, Tucker Whitten, Tremond Coffee, Frankie Gearheart, Rayna Stewart and Tavion Fleming. Flower girls will be: Millie Busing, Caroline Manning, Tya Haynes, Emma Leasure, Remi White and Angelina Phelps. Honorary pallbearers will include the Centennial High School Class of 2018.
