Troy Alexander

October 7, 1962 — June 15, 2019

Mr. Troy Scott “Poppa T” Alexander, age 56, a resident of Columbia, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019 at his residence.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 4-8PM at the UAW Hall: 125 Stephen P. Yokich Parkway, Spring Hill, TN 37174. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Better known as “Troy Boy,” Troy was born on October 7, 1962 in Eaton Rapids, Michigan and was the son of Charles Alexander (Betty) and Sharon Alexander (Butch). He worked thirty-two years for General Motors, most recently as a team leader in the paint department. He married his wife Denise on August 27, 2012, but together they have spent a total of sixteen years. He enjoyed fishing and playing cards. He was a Michigan State and Alabama football fan. Troy loved spending time with his family, friends, and especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his daughters: Nicolette Kay (Dedrick) Wells of Spring Hill, Justine Eaton (Andrew Lively) of Columbia, Chelsea Eaton (Alan Seiber) of Mt. Pleasant; brothers: Charles Alexander, Tad Alexander; grandchildren: Hayden Davis, Elijah Wells, A.J. Seiber, Neven Wilson, Macie Seiber, Sawyer Lively, Marlana Lively, and Ruthanne Lively; and beloved teacup chihuahua: Isabelle.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Alexander.
