Troy Wayne Hargrove, age 51, a resident of Snow Creek Road in Santa Fe, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 5, 2024, at his residence.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in Sparkman Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born in Maury County, Tennessee, on March 16, 1972, Troy was the beloved son of Janice “Mimi” Davis Ledford and the late Harold Wayne Hargrove. He was a1990 graduate of Columbia Central High School and built a successful career in the concrete industry as the proud owner of Get Down’s Concrete. He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Troy was a people person who never met a stranger, and his family will always remember his signature phrase, “Has anyone told you they love you today?”
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Hunter (Amanda) Hargrove of Columbia, TN, daughter, Hannah (fiancé, Tyler Keeler) Hargrove of Knoxville, TN, brothers, Harold Wayne (Janice) Hargrove, Jr. of Lawrenceburg, TN, Seth Ledford of Columbia, TN, sister, Tia Ledford of Lynchburg, TN, grandmother, Mary Katherine Davis of Columbia, TN, grandchildren, Blair, Payton, and grandchild on the way, Bailey, nieces and nephews, Paisley, Austyn, Dylen, Weston, Abbi, uncle, Ed King, best friend, Rusty Stewart, devoted friend, Nicole Mote, and numerous cousins.
Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his step father, Billy “Moosie” Ledford.
Pallbearers will be Mike Thomas, Mike Prince, Trent Mitchell, Seth Ledford, Johnny Cates, and Kevin Wyatt.
