Troy Reed Majors

Troy Reed Majors, age 56, resident of Columbia, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 22 nd at 10AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday, September 21 st from 4:00 – 7:00PM at the funeral home.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Troy was born October 31, 1965 in Davidson County and was the son of the late Robert B. Majors and the late Norma Jean Work.  He served our country in the United States Navy for eight years.  Some of his hobbies included fishing and tinkering with vehicles.  Most of all he loved his family, especially his grandkids.

Troy is survived by his children, Angela Majors, Matthew Majors, Wiley (Lois) Majors of Culleoka, and Caitlyn Majors of Culleoka; fiancé, Jowanda Kerr of Columbia; brother, Tony (Karry) Majors of Chapel Hill; sisters, Stephanie (Fred) Henderson of Mt. Pleasant and Pennye Weston; grandchildren, Kynzley, Colten, Kyzer, Canyen, Shania, and Jayston; special friend, Stacey Doles of Nashville, as well as Friend and mother of his children Nancy Majors.

Along with his parents Troy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Papa and Mama Work.
