Uta Mcelreath

Uta McElreath, age 73, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away Thursday morning, April 29, 2021, at Life Care Center.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 2PM at Maury Memorial Gardens with Rick Points officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 12-2PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Uta was born on June 22, 1947 in Heusenstamm, Germany and was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Pauline Budesheim. She moved to The United States in 1971. Uta was an independent lady who worked most of her life as an entrepreneur. She loved animals, especially her beloved dog and companion, My Girl who just passed away in March of 2021. She also previously enjoyed taking care of her pet birds. Uta loved listening to country music and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Maurizio “Mike” (Rachelle) Franceschetti of Columbia; daughter, Tricia (Kong) Savankham of Spring Hill; brothers: Klause (Lois) Budesheim of Sweden, Udo (Karen) Budesheim of Germany; fifteen grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Pauline Spencer; husband, Dennis McElreath; and granddaughter Tabitha Savankham.

Pallbearers will be: Michael Franceschetti, Alex Franceschetti, Chris Franceschetti, Jared Franceschetti, Ricky Spencer, Mike Franceschetti, Zachary Savankham, Dezmond Flores, Anthony Savankham, and Kong Savankham.
