Victor Peterson of Columbia, Tennessee

May 4, 1932 - August 20, 2020

Mr. Victor Peterson, age 88, a resident of Columbia, passed away August 20 ^th , 2020 at his residence.

An entombment will take place Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at the Maury Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Pastor Chuck Westra officiating. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born May 4, 1932, in Montgomery County, Ohio; Victor was the son of the late Waldo Peterson and Virginia Rush Peterson. He was married to the late Jean Peterson for 62 years; they loved to go on cruises together. Victor was a Tool & Die Maker at General Motors, and prior to his retirement, trained all the apprentices there. He coached Little League for many years and was also a Cub Scout leader. He was a very active, dedicated member of the Christ Our Savior church in Columbia.

Victor is survived by his two sons: Bruce Peterson of Columbia, TN, and Donald Peterson of Tipp City, OH; one daughter: Deborah Clark of Columbia, TN; and three grandchildren: Zachry (Brandi) Clark of Spring Hill, TN, Brent Clark of Murfreesboro, TN, and Nicholas Clark of Columbia, TN.

In addition to his parents and wife, Victor is preceded in death by his brother: Carl Peterson; and his sister: Vivian Fryman.

Those acting as Pallbearers will be: Zachry Clark, Brent Clark, Nicholas Clark, Bruce Peterson, and Donald Peterson
