Viola Hendricks

Viola Sullivan Hendricks, age 85, a resident of Columbia, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Ledbetter officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 4-8PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on January 31, 1933 in Thompson Station, Viola was the daughter of the late Alvin Sullivan and the late Ada Holt Sullivan. She was a graduate of Cone High School in Nashville. Besides her work as a homemaker, she was an avid reader and loved gardening, cooking, and tending to her flowers. Viola was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by her children: Michael (Kim) Hendricks of Dickson, TN, Troy (Deb) Hendricks of Buford, GA, Steven Hendricks, and Cheryl Fidanian; sister: May Johnson; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Andrew Curtis Hendricks on July 27, 2013.

Pallbearers will be: Larry Johnson, Eric Johnson, and Andrew Hendricks.
