Violet Veronica Longacre (Nana) age 102, resident of Life Care Center in Columbia, TN passed away peacefully on Saturday August 22 nd , 2020. Born in Glen Lyon, PA she lived in Levittown, PA prior to packing up and moving to Columbia, TN with the Fitzpatrick family in 1993. Violet attended school in Glen Lyon, PA. She enjoyed many hobbies throughout the years. She was an avid traveler with the Senior Citizens Group.  Her passion was reading books, playing cards, crocheting and listening to her books on tape. Her main focus in life was looking after her family grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Predeceased by her parents, Anthony Bon Savage and Anna Ruglis, and her brother George Bon Savage, her first husband Frank Zapolski, and second husband William Longacre.

She is survived by her children, Patricia (Larry) Crammer of Murrells Inlet, SC, Ronald (Myrl) Zapolski of Ten Mile, TN, and Francis (Joanne) Zapolski of Langhorne, PA.

Grandchildren, Terri Ash (aka Whatchamacallit) and Michael, Sandra (Timothy) Fitzpatrick, Francis (Carin) Zapolski, Lisa (Andy) Hemberger, Ronald (Dawn) Zapolski, and Scott (Megan) Zapolski.

Great-Grandchildren, Deano (Jolene) Serafine, Teresa Serafine and Adrian, Samantha (Joshua) Reinoehl, Melodie Bouchard and Jeffrey, Bradley (Mary Beth) Fitzpatrick, Andrew Hemberger, Brielle Hemberger, Skylar Zapolski and Zach, Cody Hemberger, Jake Zapolski, Brett Hemberger, Brayden Hemberger, Cole Zapolski, Cory Hemberger, Chael Zapolski, Frankee Zapolski.

Great-Great Grandchildren, Tyler Hargrove, Alexsys Serafine, Noah Serafine, Damiano Serafine, Hailee Bouchard, Madison Bouchard, Mary Violet (aka Maeve) Fitzpatrick, Peyton Woods, and soon to be Maverick Ryal

In addition to the family above she held so many others close to her Heart that called her Nana. We shared “Our Nana” with our closest friends who became family.

Due to the pandemic, a private gathering was held. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Tennessee Library for Accessible Books and Media, Attention: Director Maria Sochor, 403 7 th Avenue North, Nashville, TN 37243.

She was the HEART of our family and will be greatly missed.
