Beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

He passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Carrie M. Dotson, his four children, Clyde (Virginia) Dotson Jr., Trishaé L. Dotson, Darrell (Darlene) Dotson, Lovie Jones-Morgan, seven siblings, Lula (Dan) Woolridge, Neata Jean Brown, Lucy (Steve) Luse, Grover (Annie Faye) Davis, Bettye (Robbie) Robinson, Barbara (Dwaine) McHenry and Henry (Josie) Davis, five grandchildren, Bijan A. Dotson, Johnnai (Mancell) Daniel, Tikari Dotson, Jessica (Matthew) Quillen, Giovanni Dotson, ten great-grandchildren and a host of relatives, friends, and his Ironworker Brothers Local Union 378 Member 44yrs. Oakland, CA.  “Clyde” “Honey”or “Brother” as he was affectionately called was known for his many acts of kindness and generosity.  He was passionate about his work as an Ironworker in Northern CA, his family and restoring classic cars! He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
