Mrs. Wanda G. Kyzer, age 73, wife of Bill Kyzer, and a resident of Lewisburg, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at her residence.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Anthony Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens, adjacent to the funeral home. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on April 26, 1947 in Huntsville, Alabama, Wanda was the daughter of the late Floyd Bost and the late Gladys Gipson Bost. She and her husband owned and operated Kyzer Plastics in Lewisburg for over twenty years. Wanda often enjoyed crafting, collecting Fenton glass and nutcrackers, and working puzzles. She was an avid reader who also loved gardening, tending to her flowers and thrift store shopping. Wanda enjoyed trips to Tunica and vacationing in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her husband, Bill of nearly thirty-eight years, she is survived by her daughter, Kim Ethridge of Lewisburg; son, Kevin (Carol) Cothren of Alabama; brothers: Floyd (Kathy) Bost, Jr., Buford King, Ken King all of Alabama; grandchildren: Cody (Merritt) Ethridge, Evan Ethridge, Larry (Sarah) Cothren, III, Claudia Cothren; great grandchildren: Alex and Jax Cothren; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Larry Cothren, Jr., Timothy Cothren; and brothers, Bobby & Doug King.
Wanda’s family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
