Wanda Lunn

Wanda Jean Lunn, age 74, resident of Lewisburg, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 at UofL Health in Louisville, Kentucky.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Michael Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on October 6, 1946 in the Southport Community, Wanda was the daughter of the late Joe Thomas Powell and the late Doris Marie Logue Powell West. She married Willis “Andy” Lunn on June 6, 1964; he preceded her in death on September 24, 2015. She previously worked for at Weather Tamer and in 1985 began working for the Dickson County Court House until she retired in 2011. Wanda enjoyed cooking, working in her garden, going to the lake, and doing aerobics, Zumba, and yoga. She was the secretary for the Presbyterian church in Lyles where she also sang in the choir.

She is survived by her sons: Bryan “Hershey” (Lynne) Lunn of Jeffersonville, IN, Thomas (Vickie) Lunn of Lewisburg, TN, and Ricky Hickman Lunn of Columbia, TN; brothers: Jeff (Paula) West of Lebanon, TN, Ray West of Nashville, TN; sister, Pat West of Nashville, TN; grandchildren: Joshua Quade Lunn, Jessica Faye Lunn Johnston, Justice Layne Lunn, Amber Dakota Lunn; and several great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be: Jeff West, Cody West, Jared West, Ray West, Neil Davis, and Xavier Harris.
