Wanda Mattie of Franklin, Tennessee

April 21, 1938 - December 21, 2019

Wanda Faye Mattie left this life and was peacefully lifted up to be with our Heavenly Father the evening of December 21, 2019 following a very brief but brave battle with an aggressive cancer.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husbands Jim Siler, 1991 and Gene P. Mattie in 2011, her precious mother, Linda Jane Butcher, siblings: Mabel Rogers, Curtis Butcher, James Butcher and Francis Broyles.

She is survived in death by her two daughters, Cindy Siler (J. Mark Wilson) and Pam Hodge (Greg), her three cherished grandchildren, Kolby Nance (Meggie), Alana Hodge and Savana Hodge, her two special grandchildren; Brandon Wilson (Wendy) and Caroline Adrian (Tyler) and her treasured great-grandchildren – Siler Morton Nance and Eleanor Jane Nance. Wanda is also survived by Gene’s children: Greg Mattie (Devona), Wes Mattie, (Patty), Stan Mattie (Jane), Brad Mattie (Dana), Stacey Brown (Randy) and 9 grandchildren all of whom played a special role in her life.

Wanda left this world serving others with love and kindness. She brought many others joy and lived life to the fullest with all of her family and especially with her dear friends at Brookdale.

Services will be held at her last place of residence that she called her “home” Brookdale Franklin, 910 Murfreesboro Road Franklin TN 37064
