Wanda Gail Tinsley Pipkin, age 70, a resident of Lawrenceburg, previously of Columbia, passed away Saturday morning, January 11, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Private funeral services for Mrs. Pipkin will be held Tuesday, January 14 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family.
Born December 28, 1949 in Grapevine, TX, daughter of the late Clarence and Dorothy Brady Tinsley and wife of the late Virgil Pipkin. She was a 1968 graduate of Central High School and of the Christian faith. Mrs. Pipkin was a retired forklift driver from ICP. She was an avid book reader who loved being outdoors, staying home eating cheese, hotdogs, peanut butter and drinking Dr Pepper.
She is survived by sons: Clay (Rebecca) Pipkin of Chapel Hill and William P. (Sheryl) Butler of Culleoka; sister: Deborah Dean of Lawrenceburg; grandchildren: Camden and Coltin Butler, Canaan Watkins, Asa and Oakley Pipkin.
