On Wednesday March 19, 2025 in the arms of his daughter Denise, Warren L. Borchardt, 92, passed peacefully home to Jesus and is now with his beloved wife of 70 years, Mitzi. He was born on August 30, 1932 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Warren was the son of LeRoy and Beatrice Borchardt. He was honored to have served in the United States Army during the Korean War, on the front lines. He was an electrician and started United Electric, along with his brothers Romeyn, Lynn, Orval and brother-in-law Joe Binder. Warren married the love of his life, Mary Ann (Mitzi) Binder on June 6, 1953. Together they shared a love for travelling. They went on numerous cruises throughout the Caribbean, South America, Tahiti, Hawaii, Alaska and Europe. He was a generous, warm hearted man who loved to people watch. Warren had a way of making everyone feel special and loved. He was also a prankster. Warren loved to pull pranks. His favorite day of the year was April Fools Day! He was a great story teller. His 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren have heard about “The Swamp Monster” and “Willard the Wolf.” He will be deeply missed by his children, Denise (Brian) Dumke and Sandra (Greg) Napert. Warren is now reunited with his sons, Alan and David. A celebration of life will be held later this year as the family places both Warren and Mitzi to rest at Loon Lake.
