William Joseph Jacobson

William Joseph Jacobson, age 75, a resident of Columbia, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

William was born on July 27, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late John Jacobson and the late Stella Steele Jacobson.  William retired from General Motors after 40 plus years of employment. He also served in the United States Navy.  William was of the Presbyterian faith.

William is survived by his companion, Nancy Bankhead; daughter, Casey Leann Bankhead; son, Cody Lyn Bankhead; grandchildren, Robert Wayne DuPont, Katelynn DuPont; best friends, Pat and Susan Sullivan; and fur babies, Roxy, Zeus, Sammy, and Princess.
