William Edward Myhan, age 89, a resident of Pulaski, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024, at NHC Pulaski.
Born on December 21, 1934, in Cullman, Alabama, William was the son of the late William Leslie Myhan and the late Janice A. Polk Myhan. He married Hazel Christine Myhan on July 2, 1977; she preceded him in death on November 21, 2022. Together he and his wife enjoyed traveling. William had a great sense of humor and often enjoyed writing poetry. He was a member of Church of God in Lawrenceburg.
He is survived by his stepchildren, Christine (Tommy) Dial of Lawrenceburg, Rebecca Springer of Lawrenceburg, niece, Cindy Perry, step grandchildren, Rhonda (Dean) Fisher, Ronnie (Sharmon) Dial, Amanda (Wade) Copeland, sisters in law, Connie Painter, Chapple (Blaine) Norris, Edith (Duel) Brown, Elizabeth Mattox, Kathryn Hunt, Joyce Satterfield, and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Myhan, and sister, Cathy Atwood.
The family will celebrate his life with a private service at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
