William Edward "Eddie" Sawyer, Sr.

Mr. William Edward “Eddie” Sawyer, Sr., age 66, husband of Shirley Sawyer, and a resident of Culleoka, passed away early Sunday morning, September 2, 2018 at his residence.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 5PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Tom Sullivan and Mike Dodrill officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday from 5-8PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Eddie was born on March 11, 1952 in Franklin and was the son of the late Anderson Sawyer and the late Dorothy Rogers Sawyer. He was a lifelong truck driver who loved going fishing.

In addition to his wife, Shirley of forty-six years, he is survived by his children: William E. (Amy) Sawyer, Jr. of Bon Aqua, Katherine (Robert) Skinner of Culleoka, Charles Sawyer of Culleoka; brother: David (Judy) Sawyer of Lyles; sister: Louise (David) Ivey of Lyles; grandchildren: Nathan Sawyer, Alex Skinner, Olivia Skinner, Ashton Sawyer, Tristan Sawyer, Ben Skinner, Jeffrey Warren, Emmalee Warren; and great grandson: Rhett Skinner.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Richard Sawyer.
