Mr. William “Will” Robert Kreisel, age 39, a resident of Columbia, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 28, 2019 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Nashville Highway.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 4PM at Heritage Funeral Home with John Williams officiating. A visitation will also be held on Saturday from 2-4PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on February 17, 1980 in Sedalia, Missouri, Will was the son of Johnnie Kreisel and JoDeana Acton Houston. He was a 1999 graduate of Green Ridge R VIII High School in Missouri. He was the owner of Will’s Excavating Service, worked many years for Alexander Backhoe & Dozer, and was a TSA Agent at Nashville International Airport. Will was a jack of all trades who loved to work. He especially loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children: Madison Allene Kreisel, Laura Mae Kreisel, Johnathan Robert Kreisel; girlfriend: Mary Voorhies of Columbia; siblings: Jeremy (Jennifer) Thomas of Spring Hill, Angie Houston (Kyle Witt) of Spring Hill, Alex Houston of Williamsport; step sister: Pamela Potter of Missouri; grandparents: Joyce & Ed Acton of Missouri; nieces and nephews: Jasmine Spencer, Angeleyes Morris, Alana Thomas, Charlotte Thomas, Kamryn Houston, Kynzlee Grzechowiak, Kaden Witt, Paisley Houston, Chevy Houston; the mother of his children: Andrea Stewart; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his step mother: Desiree Kreisel; grandparents: Robert H. Kreisel, Allene F. Kreisel-Stover; and step father: Rick Houston.
