Wilma Daniels of Columbia, Tennessee

Wilma Lee Oliver Daniels, age 70, a resident of Columbia, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020 at her residence.

There will be no public services. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on February 14, 1950 in Atlanta, Georgia, Wilma was the daughter of the late William Jefferson Oliver and the late Nannie Lee Cowart Oliver. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, and in her younger years worked at the stadium. She also previously worked at Fox Theatre in Atlanta where she met some of her favorite icons, Elvis Presley, George Jones, and Conway Twitty. Wilma enjoyed sewing and often made clothes for her two sons. She loved her beloved dog, her “baby,” J.R. Above all, she loved her family, especially her granddaughter.

She is survived by her sons: Aaron (Elizabeth) Daniels of Columbia, Russell Daniels, Jr. of Columbia; granddaughter Willa Daniels; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Daniels, Sr.; and brothers: Butch Oliver and Joseph Oliver.
