Brad Bradley

March 2, 1966 — June 19, 2020

Mr. George Ewell Bradley, Jr., age 54, husband of Terrie Bradley, and a resident of Lewisburg, passed away Friday, June 19, 2020.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2020 at 2pm at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Irvin officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery in Lewisburg. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2020 from 4-8PM and again on Friday from 1-2PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

A native of Lewisburg, Brad was born on March 2, 1966 and was the son of George Ewell Bradley, Sr. and Nancy Boyd Bradley. He married Terrie Katzenberger on April 2, 1988 and together they had one daughter, Lauren Elizabeth. Brad worked twenty-eight years at Teledyne in Lewisburg where over the years he carried many titles, including Facilities Engineering Manager.

Brad loved being outdoors riding motorcycles, boating, hunting and spending quality time and taking trips with his wife and daughter. He coached Middle Tennessee Thunderbolt Softball Team which went to Nationals twice and the Columbia Academy Bulldogs Softball Team for eight years, finishing as State Runner-up in 2014. A loving husband, father, son and brother, Brad dedicated the time he used for his own hobbies to help his daughter achieve a college softball scholarship and hardly missed a game those four years.

A hardworking and intelligent man, Brad was a man of many talents who could do anything he put his mind to. He had a love for building and design and utilized technology to learn more and better himself. Brad was a private individual who would not place his burdens on others. A man of few words, he showed his love for others through his actions and acts of service. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and attended Faith Fellowship Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he assisted in maintaining the grounds and served on the Building Committee.

He is survived by his wife, Terrie Katzenberger Bradley; parents: George & Nancy Bradley of Lewisburg; daughter, Lauren Elizabeth (Zach) Johnson of Pulaski; brother, John Stephens (Tammy) Bradley of Cornersville; brother in law, Bobby (Cheryl) Katzenberger of Culleoka; and nieces: Anna Grace Bradley and Mary Kate Bradley.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: John G. & Lena Mae Bradley, Oscar Stephens & Elizabeth Thomas Boyd; and nephew, David Katzenberger.

Pallbearers will be: Todd Lovett, Greg Carter, Rodney Gaddis, Ricky Thompson, Rob Johnson, Jimmy Campbell, Bobby Katzenberger, and Scott Boyd.

The family requests memorial donations be made in Brad’s honor to the Faith Fellowship Cumberland Presbyterian Church Building Fund: 920 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, TN 38401.
