Geneva Johnson Curtis Capps, age 93, of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Brookdale Senior Living.

The Maury County native, born on September 24, 1930, was the daughter of Robert and Ina Johnson. Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, Bill E. Capps, brother, Ray Johnson, daughter, Linda Dooley (Evan), and son, Ronnie Curtis (Kay).

She is survived by her sister, Neda Tracy and Bill (Marylin) Johnson.
Geneva treasured her time with her grandchildren, Brent (Kellye) Dooley, Trevor (Dana) Dooley, Kate Gassaway (Keith) Daniel, Sam (Josh) Curtis, and great grandchildren, Cameron Dooley, Abigayle Dooley, Sam Gassaway and Meg Gassaway all of Memphis, TN.

A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 23. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
